Engineering Construction design for the remodeling of the Álvaro Guerra Elementary School, in Vila Franca de Xira. The intervention comprised the refurbishment and an addition to the existing building. The two volumes added to a total area of 1.150 sq. meters.

The structure of the existing building was kept as much as possible, only replacing the degraded elements, thus preserving the traditional building systems
